HEY. something suddenly struck me! ( i always blog when something strikes me ) anyway, i was thinking that an author has REALLY REALLY made an impact when their characters are like well known. hmm dont really know how to put this in words. and it sounds like my groundbreaker, Hans Christian Andersen. as in his characters The Ugly Duckling, Little Match Girl, Little Mermaid are pretty well known also. Although, on my part, I think Disney did that to little mermaid. anyway, that's NOT my point. the point is, the characters are so well-known and well-liked that real people like us actually can visualise them.

Ok an example would be Jane Austen's Mr Darcy. It helps when their books move to the big screen too I guess. PLUS, Helen Fielding's Mark Darcy. Ok, and many other authors too. But I think it depends..although I think I have fallen for almost, yes almost, ALL of meg cabot's male characters. okok, maybe my realisation's isnt that grand after all. maybe these authors just know how to tug the heart strings of people like me. but then again, the male characters are not as well-known!

Ok, I realise blogging about such things feels so much better than blogging about one's mundane life. As for my life, I realised to my horror, I'm like 2kg heavier. AND i'm beginning to feel fat in like everything i wear. i think this should mean something. haha. yah, and with this info in mind, I ATE LIKE 20 SATAYS at church's dinner just now. =x and i agree with many others. somehow, JC makes one fatter. oh damn. imagine when i start working? ok once again, this has slightly nothing to do with my life. haha. anyway, i would love to put my presents all together and take a photo but i'm pretty lazy to do so. I seem to have no time to do stuff somehow. like watch grey's anatomy season1, READ about my dear steven gerrard ( oh man, he's so sweet when he describes OR talks about his wife. ), pack my table neatly, etc. oh and get some patience to read pride&prejudice.

hmm really bored now. shall update myself on what my dream guy would be. note that it's dream. mark darcy + mr darcy + clayton westmoreland + steven gerrard + prince eric. oh, and i just realised something else too. even though i like both ronaldo & steven gerrard, i think ronaldo's more like eyecandy while gerrard's someone i would totally fall for. haha. that's why i'm interested in his life ok! oh and i think that sometimes it's just not the things someone does for you. it must be the guy + the things he does that makes you fall for him. however, in some cases, i guess if the guy's not right, then..yah.
